The beyerdynamic DT 231 headphone system is a lightweight, closed headphone for leisure and work. It can be connected to portable audio devices, MP3 players, Hi-Fi systems, computers, dictating machines and other devices. The cable between the two ear cups is hidden in the headband. The soft, replaceable ear pads ensure a high levels of comfort.

The DT 231 features a high degree of acoustic coupling with an outstanding low-frequency response that results in a powerful bass and well balanced mid and high frequencies. Another highlight of these headphones is the fold-away design which makes them easy to store and transport. The 32 ohm impedance makes the DT 231 MP3 friendly. The single-sided connecting cable is 3 meters long with a gold-plated stereo jack plug (3.5 mm) for mobile devices. Using the supplied 1/4" adapter (6.35 mm) the headphones can also be connected to Hi-Fi systems. All beyerdynamic headphones include a 2 year parts and labor warranty serviceable in the U.S.A.
